does not require any technical knowledge. TypePad is the perfect solution for freelancers, small businesses,

WordPress is free and is supported by a
worldwide community of software developers. Loads of free templates and widgets are available. Expect
a learning curve. Having said that, this is a very powerful, awesome tool that has been fully embraced by the blogging
community. WordPress can be hosted directly at WordPress or on your own site using a domain you choose. My recommendation
is that you decide on hosting your own blog.

If you are interested in WordPress, Sherman Hu (great guy) has a number
of free video tutorials to get you started step by step. I am a lifetime member of his WordPress coaching
club. This man knows his stuff. He was an instructor at the sought after System training in Chicago and part of
StomperNet faculty. Did I mention the tutorials are
free? |
Blogger is owned by Google and
provides a hosted blogging resource at no cost. Great templates are available and you can customize your font and
colors. Perfect for the newbie or small business owner with a tight budget. You can set up and make your first post within
minutes. Really!
Vox is very similar to Blogger in that
it is a free hosted blogging resource. Created by SixApart, Vox supplies over 150 professionally designed templates
also at no cost. I didn't spend too much time working with Vox but you might enjoy the greater choice of templates.
I found Blogger to be the most user friendly of the
free blogging resources.
